Frequently asked questions
Clear answers before you publish.
The practical details about privacy, reading analytics, lead capture, rendering and billing.
01What does PDFLP do?+
PDFLP turns an existing PDF into a mobile-first landing page. You can preserve the original pages, add a summary and CTA, collect leads before a download, and review reading and conversion analytics.
02Can I keep a PDF out of search engines?+
Yes. New customer pages are unlisted by default and return noindex directives. Publishing a search-visible page is a separate, explicit choice that also requires a summary and key takeaways.
03Is the original PDF public?+
No. Original PDFs are stored privately. The public page uses page images, while access to the original file is controlled by a short-lived download token.
04Can I see how readers engage with the document?+
PDFLP records anonymous page views, CTA clicks, the deepest page reached and form submissions. Reports can show search and identifiable AI referral traffic separately, with unattributed traffic called out.
05How does lead capture work?+
You configure a lead form and download policy. After consent, the visitor receives access to the original PDF, the lead is stored in your workspace, and delivery and notification emails are queued.
06Are scanned PDFs supported?+
Yes. Scanned PDFs can be rendered into page images. Pro workspaces can request OCR for up to 500 pages per month, review the extracted text, and approve each page before any transcript can appear on the public landing page.
07What happens if PDF rendering fails?+
The document records the failure and the worker retries automatically. You can also start a manual re-render from the document list after correcting unsupported files such as encrypted PDFs.
08What happens when I cancel Pro?+
Cancellation stops the next renewal. Access remains available through the paid billing period, then the workspace returns to Free without deleting existing documents or landing pages.
09Who processes payments, tax and invoices?+
Creem acts as Merchant of Record. Creem handles hosted payment, applicable tax, invoices, receipts, refunds and payment disputes.
